I’ve always had a soft spot for Seth. He always seemed so nice and happy in the books that I don’t think it’s possible to not love him. And just like Embry, he’s one of the wolves that I get to rec because unfortunately, they didn’t get a happy ending in Breaking Dawn. They got nothing. No imprint, no future, nothing was hinted at. It made me sad. But thankfully, fanfiction is here to make it all better.

I loved this fic from the first time I’d read the summary. Why? Because the Seth in my fic happens to be a police officer as well, working with Charlie and all. I found it interesting because well, my Seth is just a secondary character. In Love This Pain, though, he’s definitely the protagonist. He’s been looking for his imprint for ages but he’s never had the chance to find her. Some may say that he’s lucky, some may say he’s not. He actually wishes he would find this girl because he’s afraid to get involved with anyone else for fear of breaking their heart one day. Poor Seth…

Enters Regan. She’s 16, Bella’s cousin from Phoenix and she’s coming to live with Charlie and Sue until she graduates from high school. Do I need to say what happens next? I think you can guess…The problem? Yeah, she’s underage. And Seth’s a policeman. All he wants for now is to get her to tolerate him as a friend. He only wants to be her friend at first. But Regan has lots of baggage from her previous adventures in Phoenix. She hates Seth because he’s a cop, a dork and he’s kind of creepy. Little does she know that it’s really, really, really hard to fight an imprint. Really hard…

I just love fics about Seth. He’s such a happy going person that it makes me smile to read about him. I do have a problem, though, it’s that I can’t stop seeing him as only a little brother (which is all my own fic’s fault). I can’t find him sexy or anything. It’s awkward to read about him being intimate with someone. But that’s just me. I’m sure there are plenty of ladies around here who absolutely love to read these sorts of things. I simply enjoy seeing him happy even if he has to struggle to make Regan realize they are meant to be friends and even more, if she wants to. When she’ll be 18, that is.
