Consequence of Confessing Your Fantasy By Dragontattoo75

The Consequences of Confessing Your Fantasy by Dragontattoo75 Who knew confessing a fantasy to your husband could uncover a secret from his past? Told in BPOV, but all M/M lemons. AH
Twilight - Rated: M - English - Romance/Friendship Jasper & Edward WIP

This story is very different than any of the slash stories I've read before. It's different because it's told from Bella's POV. It's different because Bella is married to Jasper, and has fantasies of seeing him with another guy. The story starts out with Bella reading slash fanfiction and getting caught up in the fantasy and the eroticism. She decides she's going to mention her love of guy/guy loving to Jasper and see what his reaction is. Bella has some definite ideas about what she'd like to talk to Jasper about, when he asks her what she's been reading, she's honest with him....
"I read about them having sex, and it got me so worked up." I feel my cheeks warming. "When I read about them, I pretended that one of them was you."
I hear him moan softly and look up to his face. He has red spots on his cheeks and his normally blue eyes are almost black, staring at me. Maybe he isn't repulsed by the thought of what I had read. "What are you thinking?" I whisper.
"I like that you think about me when you read those stories. Do you ..." he swallows, "... do you like to think about me with another man?" His breathing is as hard as mine is.
"Yes!" My voice is hoarse."
Bella is very happy that Jasper's not repulsed by her confession, in fact it's just the opposite, he is very excited that his wife could actually be interested in letting him act out her fantasy. Several weeks later they go to a cabin they own to do some maintenance. While they're there an old friend of Jasper's shows up. Seems he's rented the cabin next door to get away and do some work on his own. His name is Edward Cullen. When Bella meets him she's embarrassingly attracted to him. Which Jasper calls her out on. He then tells her that he knew Edward in college and experimented with him sexually. At first Bella is shocked by this news. She wonders why Jasper never mentioned it before. But he explains he never wanted to lose her over something that happened so long ago and was never going to happen again.

They both decide that they'll talk to Edward and see if he's game. They're both very willing to see where they're fantasy can go, they just need to see if Edward is as willing. They really shouldn't have worried, Edward is more than willing to try new things, as they soon discover.
"You are the only man I've been with, Edward. I liked what we did back then and used to think about it sometimes," he stops for a moment, plucking at a hole in his old jeans. "When Bella told me about her fantasies it sort of awakened mine too."
"So, are you two thinking of doing anything about that?" Edward asks, and then he suddenly stops in the middle of lifting his cup. "You planned this, Jasper! When you told me about this cabin up here, it wasn't only because it would be perfect for me this year, but because it would be perfect for you too!"
I'm afraid we've gone too far, that we misjudged him when he asked if I wanted a live show. I take a small step towards Jasper thinking that Edward will get mad at us, and for a few seconds I'm afraid, but then he suddenly he lets out a barking laugh. "You two horny fuckers! I really like you and your idea. This could have turned very awkward for you, and you took a brave chance. I love to experiment with sex, and I have never had a wife watch me have sex with her husband before."

They obviously have alot of love between them, because even after watching him be with Edward she's able to just look at it as him helping her live out a fantasy and seems to have no problem with it. In fact she really enjoys watching them together. And Jasper definitely enjoys being with Edward. And so their arrangement begins. Every few weeks they meet up and each time they act out a different fantasy. I keep waiting for Bella to think they've gone too far, or for her to feel jealous but she hasn't yet. Just the opposite, she has enjoyed it so much that it's actually inspired her to try her hand at writing. She definitely has the visual to write some very sexy stories.

I really like this story, I like how it's written and I like that it's from the point of view of someone who's observing the interplay between two men. Purely for her own enjoyment and her husbands curiosity. Bella is so curious and so is Jasper, and Edward is full of surprises and definitely is willing to show Jasper some new experiences. Will their relationship suffer from their arrangement in the future? That remains to be seen, I keep wondering if Jasper is going to like the excitement that Edward brings to the bedroom, and if he'll miss it when one of them decides their arrangement is over. I wonder if Bella will learn to regret her decision to bring another person into their bed. So far they seem pretty happy and there hasn't been a negative consequence. I guess we'll all have to wait and see how it turns out.

This story usually updates once a week, and is close to complete. Check it and see what you think of Bella's decision. Banner by JA Mash, thanks go to Malice Slashlover for pre-reading and Sue273 for betaing.

Like Wishing For Rain by Drizl

Like Wishing For Rain by Drizl After six years of longing for his best friend, Edward is ready to give up. But his friends have other ideas...SLASH/JasperEdward/AH/some Angst
Twilight - Rated: M - English - Romance/Humor
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/7812672/1/Like_Wishing_For_Rain

This is the story of Edward Cullen who has been in love and obsessed with his best friend Jasper for the past 6 years. Since he was 15 Edward had tried to find out if Jasper has any feelings for him that went beyond being best friends. He still has no clue. Now they're college roommates, and about to graduate. Time is running out, since Edward's not sure if they'll be together after graduation or not, but that's not all he's not sure about, he's not sure Jasper's even gay. Luckily he has lots of help to try and figure Jasper out. Jasper's twin Rosalie, Bella his ex-girlfriend and Alice, Jaspers's ex. They don't mind helping at all, much to Edward's chagrin.

The story starts out with Edward frantically looking for a video that Rose was sure would prove if Jasper was gay or not. A gay porno lol. Having torn the house apart and having frantically searched everywhere he can think of, he still can't find it. The past few days, it's all hitting Edward. He's slowly driving himself nuts, and Jasper is starting to notice. So when he goes for his big presentation in class, he's very distracted. He plugs in his laptop to show some graphs and is very shocked to finally find the video...on the big screen for the whole class to see. He soon realizes that it's not his laptop, he grabbed Jasper's by mistake. Not that this information helps him, he's still more confused than ever, but the girls have a good laugh about it all when Jasper asks Edward about his class....

"So, how did your presentation go, Edward? I bet you nailed it."
Rosalie snorted and Edward kicked her. "Yep, totally. I don't have to take the final."

"Jeez, I heard the craziest thing on campus about some poor schmuck. He was doing a speech or something and queued up some porno in front of the whole class. Fuck, that would be embarrassing,"

Edward's cheeks heated and he groaned. Rosalie had her fist shoved in her mouth. Alice was eating a decorative pillow and Bella was chewing on her lip so hard, Edward was sure it was going to start to bleed.

They all watched as Jasper picked up his laptop and shoved it into his backpack. Rosalie cleared her throat.

"Watch any good movies lately," she said.

Jasper rolled his eyes. "Give it a rest my sweet sister."

Then there's the boys neighbor, Mrs Masen. She's flashed Edward in the past and constantly makes suggestive comments, which further sets Edward off....

"Edward darling," Mrs. Masen leered at him as she stepped off the elevator. At least she was dressed. "Be a sweetheart and help me open my door."

Oh god, she was tipsy and when she drank, she had wandering hands, which always seemed to find Edward's ass.

"Sure, Mrs. Masen," he said. He took the key from her and shoved it into the hole.

"You do that so well," she purred. "It's too bad you like the boys."

"What," Edward said quickly. He did a fancy twist and extracted himself from her arms, but not before she got in one good grab.

"You know," Mrs. Masen slurred. "I see the way you look at him."

"I don't..." he stammered.

"Yes, you do. You really should tell the boy before he gets away."

This poor boy is on the edge, if he doesn't find out soon exactly how Jasper feels, he's literally going to lose his mind. But not to worry, Rose has yet another plan, one that involves Edward not spending so much time with Jasper. But first she wants to take him to a gay bar, "just as an experiment" she tells him. When they get there, Edward meets Alec, he has alot in common with Edward. Including his interest in a guy he's not sure is gay or not. With that in common they decide to help each other...

"A nice looking, dark haired guy strode over to the table and smiled. He sat down and they all fell into an easy conversation. It turned out that Alec was new at this whole gay scene too. Edward and Alec had a lot in common and it was easy to talk to the guy. He was amazed when he heard himself talk about Jasper. Alec had a Jasper too. Some guy named James that lived in his apartment building which turned out to be about a block from where Edward and Jasper lived.

Alec shrugged his shoulders. "I have no idea if the guy is gay or not, but he sure stares a lot when we end up in the elevator together."

"Have you talked to him," Edward asked.

"What am I supposed to say? Have you talked to Jasper?"

Edward snorted. "What am I supposed to say?"

"Exactly," Alec said, laughing. His eyes sparkled and Edward couldn't help but notice that the guy had lovely brown eyes. "Maybe we could help each other out."
If all these plans and schemes do work, what will Edward do then? He spends so much time worrying about what could or couldn't happen and not enough time actually talking to Jasper. He really has no idea what Jasper feels for him. When he gets home drunk after spending some time with Alec, Jasper's mad. He takes care of Edward, but is nowhere to be found until they run into him at a party. What happens at that party will make a huge difference in their relationship. If only Edward can pull himself together enough to actually do something when he's given the opportunity.
This story is so good, it's funny...really funny, and the characters are great. Edward is in a constant state of confusion, and it doesn't help that he keeps talking to his dick, which makes itself known anytime Jasper is near. Their neighbor Mrs Masen is so funny, she handles those boys and tries her hardest to help them, but they're both so clueless. When it comes down to that moment that Edward has to actually tell Jasper how he feels, will he be able to do that? Well he needs to figure it out, time is running out, and it's either now or never. Give it a read, you wont be disappointed, where When the Night Comes was heartwrenchingly angsty. Like Wishing For Rain is heartwarmingly sweet and funny, with a little porn thrown in for good measure. Great job Drizl.  Thanks to JA Mash for the beautiful banner.

Lost and Found by @Risbee and @Coldplaywhore

Title:  Lost and Found
Rating: M
Pairing: Edward / Bella
Type: One-shot
Summary: Thrown together, true love blossoms where a city lay in ruin. Can they find love once more when they are reunited unexpectedly?

I just recently finished hosting the Hope Springs Eternal Contest and wanted to promote my Host’s Favorite Story in this week’s review.

I selected Lost and Found as my favorite story in the bunch because it really nailed not only the theme of the contest – hope, but was also a lovely romantic story written around the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina.   Coldplaywhore and Risbee are two talented writers, and when they come together, it always feels a little bit like magic.

Lost and Found, as I said above, is set in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina when aid workers initially came down to work on rebuilding the historical city of New Orleans.  Here we find Edward and Bella both coming from different cities right before they’re first year of college to try and lend a hand to people who were in need.   The plot is so delicately woven through the past into the present where Bella and Edward unexpectedly meet again at Alice and Jasper’s wedding.  There are of course complications and misunderstandings, like most love stories do, but I just couldn’t put this story down until the very end when I found out if love had indeed conquered all.

Give it a chance.  It really is a lovely read.

I want to also give a shout out to the other winners from the Hope Springs Eternal Contest, which I really encourage you to read. Including one written by our very own Admin, KatieCav!!

Fallen Angel by Jaydogrut

Fallen Angel By: Jaydogrut         Sequel to For the Love of an Angel. Edward and Jasper have a choice. Live together in eternity or give life on Earth another chance. Will destiny tear them apart again or could they live HEA?

Twilight - Rated: M - English - Romance/Hurt/Comfort Edward/Jasper WIP
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/7515361/1/Fallen_Angel

This story is the second of Jaydogrut's Angel series. The first is For the Love of an Angel, it's a beautifully written, tragic story of loss and undying love. It's not necessary to read it first, but it's really good so why not. This story is Edward and Jasper's second chance at love. The love they had was very strong and when tragedy struck, neither were able to let go. With some help from their guardian angel Emmett they get to try again at making a life together. The story starts with them faced with a huge decision, stay in the afterlife and be together, or take the chance of reliving their lives and hope that they meet and fall in love again. I think you know what they decide. They decide they want to live again, and with any luck find each other again.

The only problem is they don't remember each other, that was part of the deal. They definitely have a few obstacles to overcome, one of them being that Edward is dating Bella. He has never thought of being with a boy at all, so these thoughts of Jasper are all foreign to him. Soon he's obsessed with Jasper, he can't stop thinking of him all the time. Which leads to him and Bella breaking up. Something he's not all that heartbroken about, but he does feel guilty. Now he can focus totally on Jasper, but is that what he truly wants, is he ready for all that comes with admitting he's falling for another boy?

Jasper has his own problems, he has a great relationship with his sister Alice. She's loving, supportive, and only wants the best for him. His parents are a totally different story, his father is very homophobic, and extremely vocal about it. His mother is very submissive and does whatever his father tells her to. Even if that means deserting her son. When Jasper's father finds some boy porn in his room, it all goes bad for Jasper at home....

"We have to talk," his voice was stern; demanding. My father scared me, and he knew it.

I sat and crossed my legs, slowly tapping my knees in a morbid anticipation.

"Are you gay?" Just the words angered him; I could tell. My father's homophobia was well known, and not a day goes by where he doesn't make it known.

"Why do you ask?" I tried to remain as calm as possible.

"I found this!" He stood and threw a magazine at me. I had no time to move as the spine of the book hit me square in the nose. Tears filled my eyes. Alice's scream filled my ears. A sudden warm gush flowed over my lips. I knew what was happening as pain shot through my face and into the depths of my mind. Gravity pulled me into the darkness."

Jasper's father is incredibly cruel, and Jasper realizes he can't stay in his house any longer. He leaves. He tells Alice not to worry he'll stay with Emmett, who has already told him he's welcome to live there. Emmett knows this isn't going to be an easy time for either boy. He's really stuck, he's allowed to help, but not interfere. But fortunately Emmett is very creative. He really wants to help the boys anyway he can. He was there and saw all their grief over losing each other in their last life. He's hoping to help them avoid that this time.

When they finally meet, neither can comprehend the feelings they have, then suddenly they're both hit with memories...

"You were my friend.

My lover.

My husband.

My everything.

I don't know how I am going to be able to live without you.

The sudden realization rushed over.

Lips unlocked.

Confusion.

Memories.

Realization.

"I remember," a dual unison of words filled the air."

This is a very emotionally charged story, just the fact that they remember their past lives together isn't going to make everything easy, or make their lives perfect. They both have alot of growing and changing to do. Luckily they have very good friends, and Edward's family to help. They realize they can't just rely on their memories to guide them, they have to make their own way, and make new memories. Jaydogrut has done a wonderful job with this story it's very emotional at times, and definitely has some angst, but it's mostly a love story. They have to grow up and take control of their lives, and they're still so young and have so much to learn and experience. Next they'll be graduating, but I wonder how smooth that will go. Seems there's never a dull moment for these boys.

From realizing he's gay to embracing his deep feelings for Jasper, Edward goes through alot of change. For Jasper in some way's it's easier, he knows he's gay, but he's terrified of his father's rejection and abuse. He's surprised by the depth of his feelings for Edward, a boy he's only, thought of as straight. They both are written as very lovable characters that just need a little guidance and support. I love how Jaydogrut weaves in song lyrics at some of the more emotional parts of the story. It just works perfectly. Jaydogrut updates very regularly, usually at least once a week, and this story's author is a male, something sort of rare. He really does a great job. Fallen Angel was just nominated for Best Lemon in The Wordsmith Awards, it really deserves it. Give it a try, you'll fall in love with these boys love story too.

Dirty Games by: LilyAurora

Pairing: Bella/Paul
Rating: M
Status: OS
Warnings: Rated M for lemons, Language
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/7964024/1/Dirty_Games

This one shot and a set of one shots derived from twitter. Several friends were tweeting back and forth and decided to do picture prompt One Shot... and boy am I glad they did. This OS is stellar. It's hot, sweet and sizzles.

I took a deep breath as I approached the door to the room Paul was in, hoping that it was shut tightly. Praying he wouldn't see me, but it wasn't. It was open a good few inches and good god if Paul wasn't moving around inside.I froze.

This little One Shot packs a big punch. It's hot and sentimental at the same time. LilyAurora brings the moment to you with her easy words and detailed imagery.

I didn't even mean to look. But I did. My eyes found his frame instantly he was stood next to the bed dressing. T-shirt being pulled down over his head so the whole of his upper body was on display. Jeans hanging low on perfectly formed hips. I could make out the curve of his ass they were that low, the only thing holding them up were the Calvin Klein boxers he was wearing.

Honeymoon in Paradise by readingmama (@vampiremama).

Monday, April 30, 2012.

Pairing: ExB

Rating: M

Status: Complete.

Warnings: Lemons, so NC-17

Summary: Bella is on her honeymoon when a storm hits and she is tossed off the boat along with her husband. When she awakens on a desert island she is rescued by a beautiful angel with crimson eyes. Lemon included.

Honeymoon in Paradise by readingmama (@vampiremama).

"Wow Jake this is amazing!" I said gushing over our tiny cabin.

"Anything for you, my wife" he replied collecting me in his massive arms.

I took a moment to look at his face. He was a good foot taller than me standing at six foot seven. His dark copper skin looked beautiful in contrast to my pasty white.

Jacob and I had been married for six days. He had booked a surprise honeymoon for us and I was ecstatic. I had never left our tiny town of Forks and with our limited funds I never really expected to. Jacob ran a small mechanics shop in La Push, the reservation he grew up on just outside of Forks. At twenty years old I was already teaching high school at Forks High, but we weren't exactly rolling in the dough.

Is how this brilliantly creative one-shot by readingmama begins. It’s a sweet tale of love, even when things get tough and the focus is directed elsewhere. Bella is excited to spend the time with her husband, enjoying her first time out of Forks and eager for the chance to spend it with the man she loves.

But the story quickly takes a drastic turn, and things don’t look so good for our happy couple.

"Come on Bells, it's not safe out here," he said just as lightening lit up the sky as if to illuminate his point.

"Okay, on the count of three we run," I said preparing myself for the sprint.

"Alright, One….Two…"

On three the lightning struck again and I jumped before running. Jake kept close to me but kept pulling me closer and closer to the rail. Before I knew it both of my feet shot out from under me and Jake made a motion to grab for me. It took only seconds but it played out in slow motion. One of Jacob's hands grabbed the railing as my body slid out underneath the bars. Jake let go of the bar to grab me but we both ended up tossed into the water.

The waves crashed over us as I tried to keep my head above water.

"Jake!" I screamed, looking frantically around for my new husband.

"Bella!" I heard but couldn't see.

I felt a weight hit my shoulder and I thrashed my body around in panic. I whipped my body around to see Jake grabbing hold of me.

"Just hold on," he said.

The waves were so high that I could no longer see the boat. I started crying in the realization that it would likely be hours before anyone knew we were missing. And then it would be too late. We would surely drown by then.

Jacob is nowhere to be found, and Bella fears the worst when she washes up ashore, however, she soon has more pressing matters, such as survival. And this leads to our introduction to Edward.

Beautiful wasn't a strong enough word for him, he was luminescent. His wild copper hair stuck out in every direction. His skin was unusually pale and flawless. He wore only a small loin cloth and I could see the definition in his back as he led me through the forest. I wanted him to turn around; I wanted to see my angel's eyes.

I stumbled a few times before my angel let out a huff. My head was still pounding and I was losing consciousness again. I felt myself fall but I never hit the ground. Cool arms swept me up as blackness enveloped me again.

Vampmama, keeps Stephenie’s vampire characteristics, with Edward sparkling in the sun and having blood red eyes, but she also brings a tenderness that offsets his strong, dominant, fierce character, in a good way.

It’s ironic and a little funny though, that Bella thinks she’s dead, and considers Edward to be her ‘angel’. The last thought before I passed out again was how strange it was that my angel would have eyes the shade of blood.

And then, we share Bella’s guilt, as she dreams and remembers her husband, still lost at sea. She’s conflicted and upset, and doesn’t know how to feel. On the one hand, she feels guilty over the fact that she’s not mourning her husband’s death, but at the same time she’s enjoying being with Edward.

"Bella," he said lowering himself down to where I sat.

"Yes Edward," I replied breathily.

"Do you like it here with me?" he asked. The question was unexpected and it took me off my guard. I didn't answer at first because I wasn't sure of the answer.

Did I like it here with Edward? I hadn't thought of it up until now. I had just assumed that I was stuck here with no way off the island and I had become content with that realization. But when I thought about it, I was rather happy with Edward. I enjoyed his company. He had talked to me about my life, he wanted to know everything. The only topic he did not talk to me about was Jake. He knew little to nothing about my husband and I was ok with that. That seemed like a different life, one that I needed to leave in the past. But was I happy here? If someone came to rescue me right now would I want to stay with Edward? The answer to me was clear.

"Yes," I answered, completely sure. His face broke out into a smile that lit up his eyes.

"May I ask you something else?" His voice was suddenly unsure again.

"Anything," I prompted.

"May I kiss you?"

And as Bella comes to terms with her budding feelings, other urges are unlocked and given into, in a scene that’s beautifully written and tender.

And then Edward gets a little shock, as do we.

He pulled out and rolled over as not to crush me. He took a deep breath in and then bolted into a sitting position.

"Are you alright?" he asked.

"Of course Edward, all that screaming was a good thing you know," I said feeling partially delirious.

"But there was no blood," he stated confused.

"Blood?" I asked confused and then it dawned on me, "that only happens when you're a virgin. I was married to Jake."

"Married?" he asked.

"Yeah," I said trying to think of how to explain it, "like a mate, he was my mate."

Edward's eyes darkened and he refused to look at me.

[…]

The thought of my angel abandoning me here to live without him caused my body to wretch. Edward felt me movements and gingerly set me down.

"What is the matter?" he asked. I looked at him incredulously. "Bella?"

"You are… g-going to… leave me h-here. What did I do wrong? Please… don't leave me a-alone," I choked out between sobs. Edward grabbed my face between his hands and his face softened.

"No, no sweet girl. I won't leave you here, I love you and I would do anything to protect your honor."

I was confused by his statement. He loved me? And what did running halfway around the island have to do with my honor? I heard a throat clear and I looked up startled.

The closing to this fic may seem cruel or blunt to some, but it is a fair, well thought out response that leaves you satisfied, and then it ends on a sweet soothing note.

"How did you know that I would be your mate? I mean how did you know that Jake would bring who you needed?"

"I didn't," he responded, "I asked Jacob to bring me a pretty girl with brown hair and big eyes. I asked him for a girl pure and sweet. I did not know at the time but I asked for you. If he had brought me anyone else I know now that girl would have been dinner." I shivered at the thought. "I was prepared to wait for the right one, no matter how long it took. I was lucky enough to receive you on the first try."

When the Night Comes by Drizl

When The Night Comes By Drizl
Don't leave anything on your list Jasper. Live the life you want, not the one everyone expects. If you think about it, settling ain't really living. Can Jasper find the life he wants during the light of day or is it best left in the dark ExJ/SLASH/AU/AH
Twilight - Rated: M - English - Angst/Romance - Complete
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6153886/1/When_the_Night_Comes

This story starts out with Jasper waking up in a strange place, with someone he doesn't know...again. His phone is ringing and whoever it is just won't stop. He answers it and is surprised to hear Alice Brandon's voice. She tells him his mom is terminally ill, and doesn't have alot of time. If he wants to see her he needs to come home now. Jasper knew she was sick, but he's avoided everything for so long. After hanging up from Alice, Jasper's hit with the memories, memories he's tried to bury deeply or forget all together. No amount of alcohol, drugs or sex has worked. He still has it bad for Edward Cullen, and he truly fears what going home might mean.

Five years ago, Jasper, his twin sister Rose, and their mother Susan Hale move to Forks. The town welcomes them with open arms, Jasper's talent at football has not gone unnoticed here. They're all hoping that he can help their team finally go to the championship. He meets and becomes friends with Emmett and Edward. Emmett is soon very taken with Rose, and there's just something about Edward, something that both excites and scares Jasper. They go to a party at the beach before school starts, and he notices Edward acting sort of weird, he can't put his finger on it. One minute they're talking football, then he's shocked at what happens next....

"With your arm, we should crush them," he said bringing out the crooked grin again.

"Yeah? Do you think we'll be able to hook-up on a few long pass routes?"

His face lit up. "Hell yeah, they have one decent cornerback, but I'm faster than him." He laughed and lunged at me, but I was able to slip out of his grasp. We ran down the beach laughing and taunting each other. He finally tripped me up, falling on top of me. His green eyes were almost black as he hovered over me. Strange sensations fluttered in my stomach. Must be the fucking Jack mixing with the beer I had been drinking until Edward fucking Cullen leaned forward and brushed his lips against mine.

My entire body seized up. Was this actually happening?

"Oh fuck," he muttered. "I'm so sorry...I didn't mean...oh fuck...please Jasper...don't...I gotta go.."

He jumped off me, disappearing down the beach before I could even sit up. I ran my finger across my lips and groaned. Edward Cullen had just sort of kissed me and fuck...I kinda liked it...what the fuck did...I jumped up and started sprinting down the beach."

This is just the beginning of the relationship that blooms between the two boys. Jasper has only been with girls before, so he's very confused. But he's very attracted to Edward, and when they're alone, he seems to be all that Edward wants. Things aren't the same when others are around. This kills Jasper, he truly doesn't know what to believe. He soon starts dateing Alice, and finds it"s just not the same with her as it is with Edward. At first he feels guilty and tries to avoid being alone with Edward, but he just can't.

When Jasper returns to Forks five years later, he's surprised to learn that his mother knew about him and Edward. I love how Susan is written, she's the mom everyone wants, Warm, loving, yet she doesn't take any crap and constantly tries to get Jasper to face his past and either move on or fix it. She asks Jasper to play guitar for her not realizing he didn't bring his own. Rose tells him she'll find one he can use and he doesn't question it, until he see's it. Then he knows...

"I closed my eyes, letting a few more tears slip down my face. "It's Edward's guitar," I whispered and then I couldn't talk anymore, because my nerves were wrecked. My breath came in short spasms as I fought desperately to hold it together.

Mama sighed. "Let him go," she whispered.

"Fuck...Mama," I sobbed and then everything exploded out of me. My body shook as the waves of pain rushed through me. I buried my face into my mother's shoulder and cried. I cried because I was so fucking stupid to let him separate me from my family. Blaming him for that was ridiculous, it had been my choice not to come back to Forks for five fucking years. I cried because I was going to lose my mother and there was absolutely nothing I could do about that. I cried because it still hurt, because no matter how much I fucking hated him, I had to admit to myself that I still loved him."

This story is told in flashbacks, and it's very well written and easy to follow, not always easy with this type of storytelling. There is alot of angst, but it's so worth it in the end. All of the characters are very well developed and you feel like their friends or acquaintances you know really well. It's such a quandary, you know Jasper and Edward shouldn't be doing what they're doing because they're both dateing other people. But honestly what they have together is so rare and deep that you see Alice and Bella in the way of that. When Bella finally finds out it's heart wrenching, not because you feel bad for her, but you see how defeated that leaves Edward. He truly loses a part of himself when Jasper leaves, his life definitely does not end up like he planned. They truly start out as two confused boys who fall in love and really don't know how to handle it. They're both very innocent and naive in the ways of the heart. They don't realize the hurt they're setting themselves up for.

"My eyes fluttered shut when Edward ran his tongue over my lips, wetting them. I gave in and let my body relax as I settled down on his chest. After five minutes of heavy kissing and tongue action, I came up for air and flipped the light on. Edward's half-lidded, lust filled eyes stared back at me. I was in serious trouble.

"Please don't say anything Jasper," he pleaded.

I pushed up off him and moved back to my side of the bed. "You've got to give me something," I whispered.

He rolled on his side encouraging me to do the same. I watched as his hand splayed across my chest, coming to rest on my heart. I'm sure he could feel my heart pounding against my rib cage.

He squeezed his eyes shut. "I've never...fuck," he hissed and clenched his jaw. "No one has ever made me feel like you do."

He looked so fucking tense and unsure. I needed to reassure him that we were both in the same boat. I placed my hand over his. "You scare the shit out of me Edward Cullen."

He gave me a small lopsided smile and rolled over on top of me.

"So, can this be our secret," he asked, pinning me beneath him.

"Who the fuck am I going to tell," I asked, raising my eyebrow.

He snorted. "When the night comes, you're mine," he said and lowered his lips to capture mine again. This time it was soft and slow, with a lot of teasing and tasting. God he tasted so good and I couldn't get enough."

Edward makes the choices he does because he feels like he owes it to everyone else to make them happy. His choices crush him and Jasper, and five years later neither are living, they're mostly just surviving. Neither seems to be able to find happiness, mostly because they had it and stupidly let it slip away. Jasper is so broken, there's so much he has given up trying to forget Edward. His mom makes him see all this, she forces him to look at it from Edwards side, and see the whole picture. She makes him realize that love is not something you can just go out and replace. She shows him a picture, of two boys obviously in love, when they thought no one else knew but them. She shows him it's more important to find love and happiness, and not worry about who it's with.

This fic is complete, and the end is perfect and bittersweet. I've read this story 3 times now, and honestly I could read it again. It's just one of those stories where you just want to characters to find their happiness and do whatever they need to do to make it back to each other. Give it a try, it will leave you wanting more.
